About house vocabulary

Most house words are A1 and A2: casa, cocina and cama are A1, vecino, nevera and lavadora are A2. The list has two words for fridge at very different levels, nevera at A2 and frigorífico at C1, and the renting words alquiler and hipoteca sit at B1 and C1.

Who this list is for

Beginners learning to talk about where they live, and anyone dealing with a landlord or a rental contract in Spanish.

How to study

Go round your home and name each room and the things in it, with el or la. Keep the renting words (alquiler, propietario, hipoteca) as their own set for the day you sign a contract.

Where do the words after this list come from?

A list has an end. The words you keep for good usually turn up somewhere else — in a page you read, a show you watched, or a conversation you had — one at a time, and rarely at the level you planned for.

MindDory connects to Claude, Cursor, and other assistants that speak the Model Context Protocol, so a word you meet while you are chatting is saved to your deck as a flashcard without you leaving the conversation. There is no copy and paste, no CSV export, and no browser extension.
